Undergraduate Minor - Family Development
Program Description
Not open to students pursing a major in Human Development and Family Studies.
Minor Objectives
Upon successful completion of this minor, the student will be able to:
- Examine theories concerning general psychology.
- Explore classic and contemporary theoretical explanations of family dynamics.
- Recognize how social forces influence family definitions, composition, and change.
- Examine trends in family formation and dissolution within the context of social change.
