PHI1520 Ethics Around the Globe

This course is a study of various and common ethical principles around the world and their relationships to morality and professional responsibility. Emphasis is placed on the application of ethical theories to problems faced in increasingly globalizing business and society.

PHI2103 Introduction to Critical Thinking
40 hours, 4 credits

This course builds essential critical thinking and reasoning skills through real-world problem-solving. Students will analyze challenges, evaluate sources, and map deductive, inductive, and abductive arguments. They will also identify errors in reasoning, such as logical fallacies and cognitive biases, and demonstrate sound decision-making by establishing and weighing criteria. Finally, students will construct cogent, persuasive arguments to support innovative solutions.
