PHA1500 Structure and Function of the Human Body
40 hours, 4 credits

This course provides a working knowledge of the structure and function of the human body. A general introduction to cells and tissues is followed by study of the anatomy and physiology of the skeletal and muscular systems. The student is introduced to the nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, and endocrine systems.

Prerequisite: In programs that specifically require this course, must be completed by end of student's second quarter.
