BSC2093C Human Anatomy and Physiology I
60 hours, 5 credits
In this course, students will begin their study of the structure and function of the human body. They will examine topics including basic chemistry and cell biology, tissues, and the body's integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and sensory systems. They will also learn and apply medical terminology. Students will complete laboratory exercises coordinated with course content, including microscopic observation, experimentation, study of anatomical models, and dissection activities.
Pre- or corequisite: PHA1500; otherwise, None
BSC2094C Human Anatomy and Physiology II
60 hours, 5 credits
In this course, students will continue their study of human anatomy and physiology that began in Human Anatomy and Physiology I. They will examine the circulatory, immune and lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, endocrine, and reproductive systems. Students will complete laboratory exercises coordinated with course content, including microscopic observation, experimentation, study of anatomical models, and dissection activities.
